1964 Austin Healey Sprite -SPECIAL ORDER *THIS WAS A SPECIAL ORDER VEHICLE IN 1964 FOR: D.L. SHIPPE. THE MILEAGE IS APPROXIMATE, THE DASH GAGES HAVE STOPPED WORKING. The actual odometer reads: 27661 miles. This car belongs to my father. He just got out of the hospital, AGAIN, and THIS CAR HAS TO GO! He purchased the car from his friend a couple of years ago and it was not running, but it was kept in a garage for over 20 years. It IS in running condition now. My dad got it running a couple of weeks after he got it and he has driven it in several car shows and around town. It has a newer paint job but needs some minor bodywork and possibly a new hood. It also comes with several replacement parts as well. There are literally dozens of spare parts including: extra rear end, roll bar, two doors, trunk lid, back bumper, drive shaft, radiator, and many many more! ALSO: In the picture it is missing a hubcap, but it IS on the car now. THIS CAR ALSO HAS THE DONALD HEALEY SIGNATURE DASHBOARD INSCRIPTION PLATE MOUNTED ON THE DASH SINCE IT WAS A SPECIAL ORDER VEHICLE. THE PLATE SAYS: "Supplied to the special order of D.L.Shippe U.S.A.
