Up for auction is a 1967 Ford Mustang Convertible 289 Automatic #'s Matching. This car was found in a garage after sitting for 30 years. This is a very solid car with only two previous owners. The car was bought new and then sold to a relative in 1978. The car has a very nice interior. Rear interior quarter panels have some cracks in the plastic beneath the vinyl. Floor is solid and was patched previously. Convertible top needs a new skin. Rear folding glass is in good condition and the convertible top frame is in beautiful shape. Rams, pump and hoses for top are in excellent condition. Hoses still full of clean fluid. Car seems to be complete except for front bumper. Front frame rails have been reinforced, along with tops of inner fender walls for added strength. Engine compartment appears to be all original, and motor turns by hand freely. Speedometer shows 86,497 miles, believed to be original. Car was driven into garage when parked 30 years ago, and hasn't been started since. Doors close nicely and do not sag. Car is original blue with black top and interior. This is an excellent project car needing a complete restoration. Doors and fenders have been skimmed in various spots. We checked with a magnet and it sticks to the car in all areas. Very cool car, we just don't have enough time. Car is sold as is, pick up only. Cash payment will be excepted on date of pickup.
