Another find here at THE AUTO HOUSE- The Valiant can be viewed and inspected at 6655 Brentwood Blvd., Brentwood, Northern CA, 94513. 1969 Plymouth Valiant 4 door, Automatic V8 273. Clean CA Title- I am not sure of the miles. The car has been sitting for the last couple of years. We acquired it, changed the oil, plugs, wires, a couple of bulbs and she is ready to go. Engine- The engine runs well. It still has a single carburator which I would replace if I was to use this as a daily driver. If you don't set the choke correctly, it will take a bit for the car to warm up. After that, it will run well. Transmission- Shifts fine in all gears. The suspension is tight. Exterior- The paint is oxidized but looks ok as it sits. There are a couple of small dings here and there but nothing major to speak of. All the moulding and trim are fine. All the doors and windows open and close as they should. Interior- The dash has a couple of splits. Two of the doors need the arm rests replaced. There is a whole in the drivers' side rug- the rest is ok. Seats are faded but intact. Headliner for the most part is good. Rust- The trunk has some surface spots and a bit of corrosion. There are a couple of bubble spots on the car under the paint- left rear bottom has some and a couple of small on the top of the quarter near the rear window moulding. The rain rails look ok with a little surface rust from the paint peeling. All the gauges, odometer, speedometer, lights, heater, horn, radio, and wipers work. There is a/c from Sears but we did not try the system to see if it works. Tires are over 5/32 and in good shape. Brakes are over 50% in the front and back. Original black license plates! CA residents must pay CA sales tax on the purchase price, and a dmv license fee of $98 for new tags. The vehicle is sold as is where is with no implied warranty of anykind.
