Hello you are bidding on a 1985 Suzuki 230 LT230S Quadsport. It was not started for about 2 years...been cleaning out the barn...I cleaned out the carb drove it around the yard parked it. Next day went to move it, tried to kick it over and couldn't the engine ceased. Don't know how or why or what caused it to cease when i parked it didn't make any strange noises or anything when I parkeed it but tried to kick it over next day and could not. The kick starter will not go down now. This exceeds my expertise....my loss your gain. I'd venture to guess it probably just needs top end rebuilt. Complete quad..Needs work. Other things that should be done while you're at it...again these are optional but sb done...front wheel bearings, swing arm bearings....rear axle carrier bearings are ok have a little play...probably should change them too. One of the front brake calipers needs a new bleeder so front brakes are soft both calipers are good...if you pump the handle they work just need to be blead. Rear brakes are good, I just changed the pads. Rotors are all good. Rear tires have 50% tread life. Front tires have about 30% use left on them...still ok. One front tire has a plug in it. All hold air and work fine. Left side engine cover has been jb welded by previous owner....chain must have come off. might want to change that too. up to you. Thats it...would be great for someone who can rebuilt engines. top end kit on ebay listed for 169.00. Plastics are overall ok...someone put a little orange paint on the front left side to cover a sticker. 2 small holes on the front plastics on the inside near the engine where it bolts to the bracket. They dont flop around very intact just want to mention it. large plastic washers would probably do the trick. Headlight works too. Good cheap winter quad.
