I'm selling my 1998 BMW 528i due to the fact that I now have 2 BMW's. I do not need 2. I am starting the bidding low because it has high miles, but the car runs good still. So this car was purchased on ebay back around April of 2009. The car has gotten me wherever I needed to go. The engine is a 2.8 liter in line 6 cylinder engine. Everything is still real tight, the steering the pedals..... it drives pretty good, has nice rims, brand new fuel pump, brand new battery, still has nice treads on the tires. Power Sun roof, weather channel on the radio, nice sound system, the pixels are all perfect in the dash and in the radio, alarm with remote, it has 2 working keys and a valet key. Keys have remotes for the alarm, keyless entry, panic mode, trunk release etc. Its inspected but it will need inspection again next month as it will run out in december. Has a few flaws that need addressing. first the brakes, they will come with the car at no charge, I buy them online for cheap. (You can get cheap parts if you buy them yourself, dont let mechanics see you coming, just because you have a BMW, 50 bucks for front brakes aint bad) If I get time, i will get someone to put them on. But if you know how to put them on, or know someone, then youll save money. The car stops but you can tell ya need brakes. Also the window needs to be reset on to the track. the back passenger window. It will roll down, but wont go back up. You can just pull it up, but it needs attention. There are minor cosmetic flaws that youd expect on a used car, small quarter size dent above the right headlight. Small amount of rust near the back tire. The drivers side seat has a tear, under where you sit. But all in all, its still an pretty decent car!!! My other BMW has 200,000 on it too and runs great, My buddy in the BMW club has one with 400,000 that runs great still. These cars will last forever as LONG AS YOU CHANGE THE FLUIDS AND KEEP UP WITH THE CAR!!!! Oil changes are only needed only every 10,000 miles with synthetic oil. I changed it every 5,000 though. I warm both of my BMW's up before I even drive them. And once this car warms up it is pretty fast and gets great gas 30 plus on the highway! The car has an electronic meter that tells you how your fuel economy is, and a meter that tells you in real time how much gas you are using, mpg in real time. I have tried my best to describe the good and bad, any questions, just ask. Well, good luck!!! Touch up paint and clear coat will also come with the car!
