1986 Nissan 300zx Only 73k Original Miles! You are viewing an excellent example of the legendary 300zx. As the story goes and as I'll pass it along to you. We bought this car off the grand daughter of the the original owner. She claims that the grand mother bought the car new then later passed, years later. The car sat for awhile in the garage. They then cleared the estate and the grand daughter took ownership of the car. She drove it to her house and let it sit for over a year. She realized that she wasn't going to do anything with the car and with the bad economy, she was forced to sell. That was the story we got with the car. We are mearly passing it along to you. We try to obtain low mileage cars and offer them to you, the ebay community. When we got the car it would only start for a few seconds then shut off. We towed the car home and had it diagnosed as a Mass Air Flow Sensor was bad. We took the breather off and it was clogged with leaves and dabree. We put a new mass air flow sensor in at $195 bucks and cleaned the tube and she started right up. Upon starting the car we drove it down the street and ran through all the gears including reverse. Please read the details below and let us know how we can help answer any questions you may have. Exterior: The exterior of the car is in excellent condition for the age. It was repainted at some point throughout its life but the body panels all seem straight and accident free. The mirror has been broken off from a bicycle hitting it in the driveway(from what we were told). We did have it cleaned and polished and it really shines great. Both from far and from near. These were really sharp in the day and style has a somewhat timeless style to it. There is some rust below the rear wheels in the usual place and a rust spot in the drivers door jamb. All the glass is clear and chip free and all the lights work perfectly. Please look at the pictures and ask us all the questions you may have. Interior: The interior is in excellent condition with the exception of the headliner seperating in the rear compartment and the console lid hing is broke. All lights and gauges work fine with the exception of the oil gauge. Windows work fine too. The T Tops do not appear to leak either. There is no sign of water damage on the inside. All aspects of the interior are original including the radio. This car will talk to you when you leave your door open, or lights on etc. Please look at the pictures and let me know of any questions you may have. Drivetrain: The drivetrain is the non turbo V6 with an automatic transmission. The tires are new. All belts and hoses seem to be ok. Because the car was sitting for over a year, I would recommend checking the car over pretty good before you decide to make any long trip. As I stated earlier, the car runs and drives good for the amount of time we drove it which was about 2-3 miles. The motor sounds good with no taps, knocks or smoke and the tranny shifts great. The exhaust seems to have been recently replaced. But keep in mind, if you need us to check anything further, let us know. We want to help you make your decision. Summation: This is a very nice example of a legendary sports car. Its not in mint condition and not perfect. But these cars are very hard to find with low miles.
