Up for auction is a 1976 Ford Torino. This car runs, drives, steers, and stops good. It has the "Starsky and Hutch" TV show paint scheme (These are always cool! ). The car does need some restoration (as do most 36 year old cars), but you can drive it now, and will get TONS of attention from people everywhere you go. BODY: The car was painted some time ago, but the paint still shines well. There has been bondo put in, but I'm not sure how much. The glass is good. DRIVETRAIN: The engine is an updated 302" V-8, with an automatic trans. The engine has a serpentine belt drive, aluminum intake, Holley carb, New chrome valve covers and oil pan, and a fresh tune up. It starts up easily, and runs smooth. The automatic trans shifts well. The rear end is a 9" Ford. The Flowmaster true dual exhaust sounds good too! Some of the pics show the car with some old 14" aluminum wheels that were previously on the car. I have since replaced these with NEW 15" aluminum wheels with great tires! INTERIOR: The black interior is complete and in decent condition, although the front bench seat should be recovered. OVERALL: This is not a "Barrett-Jackson" show car, but is a fun to drive car that someone will enjoy cruising around in! NOTE: Shipping is the buyers responsibility, but I might be able to deliver for $1.25 per loaded mile ( I have a truck and trailer). There is a non-refundable $1000 deposit due immediately at the end of the auction to secure your purchase. (You may use paypal for this if you want.) The balance is due within 3 days of the end of the auction. Cash or wire transfer only. No checks will be accepted. There are no refunds for any reason. This car is sold "AS-IS, WHERE-IS".
