(Rochester Institute for Technology) college in Rochester, NY. The owner has had this Volvo since 1987, it is a "rolling restoration" and is in beautiful condition inside, out and underneath. There is absolutely NO RUST anywhere on this car. All floor's, trunk, door jams, etc are PERFECT as you can see in the pics. The owner has well over $50k invested in upgrades, maintenence, paint, etc. I have in my possession a 4" thick folder with every single receipt for every part, service, oil change, brakes, etc. that has been performed on this car since 1987. A full and comprehensive service history. I don't have enough time to record all of the services however some important points are: *The car has not seen rain or snow since we have owned it *Floor boards are solid and car is rust free. Jack struts were the only undercarriage work done to the car (1988). Body work done in 1988 was cut and weld, paint was lacquer with clear coat.*Stainless Steel Exhaust*IPD Sway bars front and rear*Engine compartment painted and new battery box welded in when engine was out for rebuild (~2005), Engine has about 5,000 miles on rebuild only synthetic oil has been used since the rebuild.*Stereo was installed with NO CUTTING to the dash. 1/4 din equalizer fit in the ashtray slot and a front end with 3 hole nose piece was used. Door speakers avoided the Volvo Emblems in the panels.*Smiths liquid gauges function, Tach and Speedo are not accurate*Front Rotors and Calipers were replaced in 2009.*Wheels are Panasport replicas of the Minilites used in the 60's*100amp Delco Alternator replaced the 25amp Bosche generator in a CUSTOM MADE BRACKET that fits the old Bosche mounts. *Bumpers were moved approx 2" away from the body with longer bolts and spacers.
