Vehicle Detail

COMPLETELY AND I MEAN COMPLETELY RUST FREE FORMAL ROOF 1969 FAIRLANE 500. Ok guys here it is!!!!!!! Got a rotten east coast COBRA??? Chek this out. for the last 10 years i have been in the restoration business. I am a proffesional restoration shop owner who originally came from the east coast about 5 years ago moving here to Arizona. I have been to carlisle, charlotte, mid ohio Ford shows and so on so I know these cars in and out and I have NEVER NEVER NEVER seen a 69 fairlane/torino body that didn't have at least some rust in the cowl panel or floor pans. SO When i saw this car I couldn't pass it up. This Fairlane has no, none, not even a hint of rot. There has never been a panel replaced that i can tell and the body has never been in any major accidents that i can see. there are some small dings and dents. I have put this car on jack stands, pulled the wheels off and literally checked every frame rail, torque box, wheel well, inner fender apron, floor pan, trunk drop off, trunk pan, quarter panel, wheel lip, rocker, door, fender, window chanel, cowl panel, front frame rail, and so on on this car and there is NOT a single panel that is rotten. I mean you could take a Torino Cobra car and rotisary restore it with this body and never buy a single patch panel! Saving thousands of dollars in rust repair. I know who much the panels for these cars are, I worked for a company that useto sell original NOS panels and they are not cheap. I'm selling this car for the cost of what it would be to replace just one quarter panel at a body shop with cost and labor. I have made two videos of the car and put them on You Tube. so you yourself can view this car inside and out including all of the underside. the first video is of all of the panels on the car with the car up on jack stands, the second video is of the engine running and the car on the ground with the wheels on.There will be instructions on how to view those videos at the bottom of this description. THERE ARE NO SURPRISES HERE> you get to see everything no matter were you are in the country or the world! DO NOT MISS THIS CAR YOU MOST LIKELY WILL NEVER FIND ONE LIKE THIS AGAIN. So now that you know the details of the body on this car lets talk about everything else. The car is a running driving, 302 2-barrel C-4 automatic car with power stearing and factory A/C. It is mostly complete other than the interior which is missing carpet and has some buckets seats out of something newer. All the glass is in the car and the moldings look OK.The original jack, spare, and related items are still mounted in the trunk. The interior is SHOT and needs to be completely redone thanks to the Arizona sun. The guy before me put $3700 in the car rebuilding the brakes, new altinator, power stearing components and a bunch more other stuff. The engine runs but I personally would rebiuld it cause its a little slugish. I must say that the chrome wheels that are on the car do not go with the sale. I have another set of chrome wheels i will be putting on the car this week that will be on them when you come to get it. Don't worry they are actually a little nicer than whats on their now. The tires are OK and hold air but the car has been sitting around for about 2 years so the sun has started to dry rot them. They will be ok to ship the car but you cannot drive this on the road. i also have a set of original 69 NON-CHROME GT torino wheels that you can purchase for an aditional $200 on top of the purchase price of the car if you wish!! The grille on the car is in great shape but unfortunately the hood was tapped and is cracked on the point of the middle of the front were the molding goes. It can be rewelded and fixed if you have a good body guy ( I could fix it in about 30 minutes) but most people would probably just replace it. Just wanted you to be aware of the fact that this is the only damage I could find on any of the panels that would be IF-E. The car has manual drum brakes all the way around. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE watch the videos......................................Now if you go on YOUTUBE.com and type in the search "1969 Fairlane Torino RUST FREE for sale in Arizona 1" and for the second video type in "1969 fairlane torino RUST FREE for sale in arizona 2" you will see the videos. If ebay now allows me to add links you can click on the two links to the videos here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CHRljQPSNRg and http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iDrPRBl-spA Please let me know if you have any questions.
