Vehicle Detail

Relisted due to a scammer using 'Buy it Now' on earlier auction. If you have positive feedback of less than 20, please skip to the 'dipshit scammer clause' below. Otherwise, welcome Ebay friends. This Van is a well preserved mild 70's street custom on the outside, but the inside is pretty wild. It's a great road trip vehicle or perfect for the Band. You can seat 8, maybe more if you throw a beanbag chair in the middle, and there's lots of storage. It's a party on wheels! The Van is a 1976 Ford Econoline E150 Chateau. The orange/ yellow/ brown stripe & diamond on the hood are factory Ford (painted on, not a decal) from the era where men proudly rocked mustaches and Ford put big bold stripes on stuff (you remember that funky little Pinto panel wagon, right?). You could keep the Van stock or add an airbrushed mural if you wanted to make it look a little wilder. As it is, you might even be able to get antique tags for it. It's got the 351 Windsor engine with 106k miles. It runs well and is fun to drive. The wheels are chrome wagon wheels. It has an Air Horn that plays the "Tequila" song so if you ever run into PeeWee Herman, you're set. The table in the back is removeable so you could haul a motorcycle or roll out your sleeping bag. The interior looks really wild at night with everything lit up. There are fertility masks on the divider walls to the back. It has a CB that's not working, but it also has a New CD Player with removable face & remote for cranking your CCR or maybe Fu Manchu. Inside the door jam is a sticker that says 'Big Boogie '78'. If the Van could talk, I'm sure it'd have some stories to tell. The Van's in good shape for a 34 year old vehicle, but here are the nitty gritty detail things that may not be noticeable in photos- The master cylinder was recently rebuilt and the only mechanical issue that I know of is that the front shock is stripped out and needs to be replaced. That should be the only thing needed for inspection & regular driving, I even put new wipers on it recently. The front tires are new as well. Oh- an air conditioner line blew out this Summer, so the A/C also needs to be fixed. Before the line blew, it had cold A/C. The Van has factory Cruise Control, but I've never even tried it. The sink isn't hooked up. I bought side pipes and fender flares but only finished mounting them on one side. The other side still has an aluminum running board (but the pipe and flares are included). The original trim that was removed to add the flares is also included. As for the body, the driver's side of the front bumper is slightly bent. There's a dent in the rear passenger's side high up. It doesn't effect the operation of the door and could probably be pounded out but it's there. Finally, there was some minor rust repair on the driver's side rocker. I welded in a metal piece and sprayed it body color, but didn't take the time to putty it up and sand it down, it's not very noticeable but could be done better. Other than this spot that I fixed, there's no rust on the Van. The Van's a great looking example of the Vans that ruled the roads and Truck-ins of the 1970's and a fun thing to drive around town. I'm only selling it to get another 70's Van, otherwise I'd keep the thing. "Dipshit Scammer Disclaimer"- DO NOT BID IF YOU HAVE LESS THAN 20 FEEDBACK, your bid will be cancelled!!!! Really, you're new to Ebay and you're buying cars already? No thanks, if I wanted to deal with that Bullshit I'd list my vehicles on Craigslist Nigeria. This is a no reserve auction so don't bid unless you fully intend to PAY. This includes a PAYPAL deposit of $200 within 48 hours to prove that you're not a scammer. Immediate deposit required by PayPal if you 'Buy it Now' to further avoid scammers. I don't want to hear your excuses and how you'll send a M/O for more than the amount due or how I've won a $1,000 Walmart gift card or that you have 53 million in an account in the US and can't access it. Scammers suck. Have some positive feedback, send a PayPal deposit in 48 hours to prove you're a real person, and actually pay and pick up your item and we'll get along fine. Thank you. On Nov-17-10 at 07:04:31 PST, seller added the following information: Note- Added a few photos showing the underside of the Van. It's in pretty good shape under there & not rusty, in fact it's in much better shape than my crappy camera with a busted flash. Sorry the photos are so horrible, but hopefully they'll give an idea of what it looks like under there. Thanks! On Nov-18-10 at 08:42:32 PST, seller added the following information: I also have a set of Cragar S/S mags for the van that will be included if the winning bidder wants them. They're 15" direct bolt pattern (not uni-lug). Thanks.
