This is the Honda Gold Wing, Model year 2000, 25th anniversary edition of the classic touring motorcycle. The motorcycle itself is in excellent condition, runs well, and rides smooth. It features the original Pearl White paint job with Metallic Olive accents, front and rear anniversary plates, and detailed pin-striping as shown. Fully chromed pegs and footrests, with adjustable rear seat footrests too. With full fairings, adjustable side wings, dual seats, and locking trunk and side compartment storage, complete with chrome luggage rack. No exterior marks, cracks or scratches visible on the body or fairings. The windscreen is in good condition, vented, normal road wear but no major scratches or fogging. There is some wear on the front anniversary nameplate. The cockpit has been somewhat modified to accommodate a battery meter and clock with temperature gauge, and audio connections to a trunk installed Sony 10-CD Changer Model CDS454RF, and Delphi satellite radio receiver. CD changer comes with installation and operations booklet. There is also an attachment affixed to accommodate a Delphi Ready XT model SA10177 satellite radio receiver included. (We have not tested these electronic items and can not guarantee how well they work - but they are reported to work fine). The battery is new as of October 2010. Tires are in very good condition with plenty of wear left. This auction also includes a pair of black DOT approved motorcycle helmets with upper snap on visor screens, and each equipped with microphone as shown - all connector pigtails included. One helmet is size XL, the other size L (we don't know hat size measurements accordingly). Both helmets are in sound condition with good straps and padding. The size L helmet shows some visible scratch and scrape wear, a major portion of the helmet's left side is surface scraped. The XL helmet shows one or two scratches, no major wear otherwise.
