Vehicle Detail
Due to an unregistered buyer making a "buy It Now" offer and not following through I am having to re-list this item. If you have a rating of zero please call me before bidding. I bought this bike in Kansas from a man who said he bought it from the original owner. I never checked it out but I kind of believe it. The bike had the original tires on it when I bought it but they were falling apart. I put on new tires, cleaned the carb, cleaned out the gas tank, and changed the oil. This is a fun little bike that runs well but needs some parts to finish it off. I bought it just to play with and had fun with it but I do not have the desire or patience to change the parts out. It needs a head light can, the petcock leaks, and the clutch cable or something is broken. I can't really tell what it is. The bike has a clear title and I did buy the Clymer book for it. Happy bidding. On Nov-15-10 at 13:22:28 PST, seller added the following information: This is a response to someone who asked if the clutch was working. I am not sure. I am not a mechanic and found out I am not a parts changer either. The turn signal switch was broken so I bought a new one. While putting it on the headlight bucket broke. I also thisnk the clutch cable is the wrong size. While putting on the clutch cable the cable broke, the clutch actuator broke, or something broke? Basically I give up. I used to race motocross and rebuilt bikes when I was 12. I am not 12 any more. I thought his would be fun but its not. So. The clutch worked before I started working on that stupid switch but something in the mechanism is broken now. What I have no idea. It seems like it would be the cable since that is what I was working on.Long winded. Sorry. I just am a disclosure person. That is what my industry requires so it is what I am used to.
