I bought this gorgeous california Mercedes Benz 280SL from the original owner about 4 years ago . He always had the car maintained to the highest standards . It runs terrific and is a blast to drive . We just recently had a complete service done and the valves adjusted .  Over the last 4 years i had the car totally taken apart and cosmetically restored . The whole body was sanded down and re-sprayed with a high quality two stage german paint . The result looks absolutely stunning . Afterwards we replaced all the seals and gaskets on the body . ( including new door and window seals , new trunk seal and new new seals for the convertible top . The convertible top was also replaced with a brand new black german canvas top . The hard top is black as well and in great condition . The complete interior was redone in leather. ( including the leather seats with the correct Mercedes skins and padding, door panels new correct german carpets) . We also had the dashboard recovered with the same ivory color leather and it looks incredible. All the wood has been re-finished to look just like new . The color combination of black against the ivory leather interior is truly stunning . You can not drive this car for one day without getting any compliments on it .   Most of the chrome was re-done . Brakes and tires are new all around . This car  is in excellent condition mechanically as well . You are very welcome to have it checked out by your mechanic . I would not hesitate to go to Las Vegas from Los Angeles ( about 300 miles one way ) at a moments notice .  I took a lot of pictures and they can describe the car better than i could . They might take some time to open , so please be patient . It will be worth it . I would prefer to sell this car to somebody local , who could come by and see this fine automobile before placing a bid . But i would also be willing to help out with shipping arrangements or a airport pick up .  This is a 40 year old car in excellent condition and it will be sold without a warranty .
