1975 Honda CT

This is the first Motorcycle I ever rode. I am the second Owner (it belonged to a family friend). It only has 626 miles, most of them mine, and most put on 33 years ago. It was stored until last year when I put Antique tags on it and rode it on a few weekends. As with most Hondas, it started on the first few kicks. I rode it 60 miles to a bike show, and people loved it. Unfortunately, and with great pain I am selling it due to unemployment and my son's need for a car/truck. It is VERY original, but not perfect by any means. TLC will restore it to an awesome attention getting reliable ride, but it will take a few (very few) issues if showroom restoration is the plan. The biggest issue to me is the scratch on the left side Trail70 decal and paint beside it. The chrome is GREAT with no rust but some light white specks. The aluminum has some typical oxydation. There are no bent parts anywhere, the seat is totally orginal and not ripped at all. The grips are the same. The fork boots have cracked but still work. The carburetor was rebuilt one time and the air cleaner was changed from the foam can to a K&N type. The tires were JUST put on and have less than 2 miles on them. They are sport scooter tires and make it handle much better than the stock flat profile on/off road rubber. The new tires are also slightly larger diameter to give a bit more top end speed. She will run at 40 mph or so depending on rider weight and wind etc. Included are the original semi knobby tires if the Buyer wants them to restore it. I am looking for serious collectors only. This bike is rare because it was never ran by a child and treated extremely well. The battery is genuine Honda, new last year when taken from storage. The fluids changed also last year and would recommend it again as I only put about 150 miles on it then. The lights/turns/horn all work. It gas a 3 speed automatic clutch. I am relisting and lowering the reserve rather than negotiate with previous bidders since there were so many who bid and some who were interested but didn't.
