In 1940 Packard offered the Senior Series 160 Super 8 in three wheel base lengths and nine models. 2 & 4 door convertibles, 2 door coupes & sedans, 4 door sedans & limousines. Only 5662 units were built. This is a rare car.The following has been done recently; a stuck valve lifter & broken cam follower replaced with new ones, The valve lifters, cam followers, springs, valves, piston tops, cylinder walls, and camshaft inspected. New gaskets, new water pump, new fan belt, new electric fuel pump, new plug wires, & plugs, new king pin & bushings. on left side, 3 new tie rod ends installed. Carb. rebuilt fuel tank removed, cleaned, rust proofed, & sealed, radiator cleaned, manifold trued, and front end aligned. Steering wheel repaired & prepared for painting, rust in front fenders & trunk non professionally repaired. The car has been re painted in the past but it is aged. This is a good driver NOT a show car She will cruise 60-65 MPH. There are small dents on both rear fenders, speedometer cable is broken and one of the head lights is not working. Windows are cracked, chipped, or discolored. I could have left something out but I have tried to accurately describe the car.
