1971 Buick Riviera. This is the most collectible year for the "boattail" styled Rivieras. 1971 is the first year,and best year for this model. The V8 engine is the 455-4 with the 400 Turbo-Hydramatic transmission. The car runs and drives as it should. The air conditioning is in working order,but could use a charge of freon. I will have this done if the car is purchased by someone residing in a warmer climate. The passenger power window is currently not working. I purchased a new switch which comes with the car. The paint is flawless and is a basecoat/clearcoat. The car is straight,without dings or ripples. The front and rear bumpers have been triple plated at a cost of $1200.00(receipt included for warranty.) Door handles and outside mirror would benefit from plating also. Radial tires are in very good condition. Brakes,rotors and drums have recently been inspected and are fine. Driver's seat area has two seams that have opened. Headliner,door panels and back seat are in nice condition. The floor has 4 locations that show rust at the driver and passenger foot areas,but not to the extent of requiring a huge amount of repair. Window weatherstripping would help the appearance and seal. Overall the car is in good shape, considering that it is 39 years old. The Buick currently has Pennsylvania antique license plates which can be transferred if the buyer is a Pa. resident. Best of luck in the bidding process. No warranty expressed or implied.
