I am selling my 1985 Toyota 4 runner SR5 custom 5 speed. I have owned this suv for about a year and a half now and it runs great and sounds awesome. The motor was replaced with a LC engineering motor, also equiped with header and dual DYNO MAX exhaust system for awesome sound and performance. Their is about 6,000 mile on the motor since it was replaced by its privious owner. The person who set the motor up and installed it was a mechinic for Toyota. When I bought the 4 runner the paint was old and faded but it ran great and sounded cool so last winter I had it painted with two tone reto design. I used a peral flake orange BMW color and a black back ground color to make it pop out and a silver pin stripe to break up the pallet "This Truck was painted by "The Body Shop" Mayfield, PA. History of the truck, This year and model truck comes with a solid front axle and also equiped with EFI, it also has factory alti meter that lights up and fuctions properly. This SUV also come with power windows, air, heat, and cruise control, sunroof off road under guard "options from 1985". The raditaior, battery, and heating line are all new and replaced within the last couple of years. This 4 runner has American Racing Rims with Pro Comp Tires about 60% on threads. This Toyota also comes with custom air horns, tail lights, window flares, bug deflector, fender guards and mirrors. On the front end of the Toyota Sky Jackers Shocks were added and Trail Master Suspension was added to the rear. Not working! the AC need to be fixed i think the compressor is shot. However I have an extra one that goes with the truck. The rear window works and will go up and down i need to replace the switch. One leaf spring in the rear needs a buckle around it. "it snapped". I know their maybe some questions on the body work done to this truck, "maybe this might answer some questions why it was painted. The last owner of the toyota had this suv for many years and took very good care of it. I only bought it off of him because he is in his late 40's and take care of his elderly mom and needed the money to put a down staris bath in for her or he would'nt have sold it. The body on the truck was in good shape for its year from the front skins, to the door to rear quarters were not rotted and the frame is solid no plates or welds in it. The bottom line is the truck run great and looks cool. However it is a 1985 and it is not perfect you can run and drive this truck soon as you get it. This is as far as I took this truck and now it time to let it go. Im selling this truck as is and im asking for a $500.00 non refundable deposit sent by pay pal 24 hours after aucton ends. If winning bidder is interested in haveing this truck shipped my friend owns a towing co. service. For a additional fee you can have this truck shipped to your location with in aprox 300 miles. Rate will depend upon distance. If need to be transported further we can make that arrangement also. This item has no reserve and will be sold to highest bidder.
