The reason for the low miles is that I travel mainly via plane for work weekly and therefore do not put many miles on it. It is the Sport model and it has the highly sought after John Cooper Works Kit installed as well. It is red with white racing stripes, the mirrors have chrome covers and the roof is “whited out” as they say in the dealership books. It has a manual 6 speed transmission which makes it very fun to drive. I get about 31 miles to the gallon, which is very good. As you can tell from the pictures that I clean this car weekly both inside and out. There is no doubt in my mind that you will not find a cleaner one! I am allergic to smoke, so I can say with confidence that this vehicle has never been smoked in. The rims on the car are the highest grade wheels you can get from mini (retailing at about $3,400 for the set). The Tires are an even more incredible asset. On the front there are BF Goodrich G-Force T/A KDW tires which are rated for 70,000 miles and were put on about 8,000 miles back. The rear tires were replaced around the same time and are Hankook Ventus V12 tires, again rated for high mileage. Even if you don’t speak tires I can assure you that these are well respected high performance tires. On a side note: There isn’t a single ding on the entire car! I have replaced the factory sound system with some infinity speakers and replaced the normal radio with an in dash DVD player which also acts as a touch screen interface for an iPod which can be plugged in safely out of view within the glove box. The new system is also wired for the installation of a rear- view camera that can be installed at any local shop and will automatically display as the car is placed in reverse. This car is in excellent condition and all service record come with it. I have always had the car serviced by BMW or MINI dealers and always on time or early according to the dealer maintenance plan. There are ZERO mechanical problems with the vehicle and it isn’t even due for an oil change until about 3,000 more miles. Again, all the service records AND receipts for everything done to the car are included (I keep detailed files) so you can verify the items and cost of all added components as well as verify services have been performed by authorized dealers.
