1990 PORSCHE 911 CARRERA 2 - NO RESERVE! This is a Porsche 911 that was recently traded in at the local Porsche dealer by the doctor that purchsed it from the same new car dealership twenty years before. The car has been very well maintained at the dealership. The car is tight as a drum, and I have had the pleasure of driving it this past week. The cars' color combination makes it looks great too. The windows, sunroof, power seat, power door locks all work as does the a/c. All the guages work, the car has a Panasonic CD player. The car has a matching set of BF Goodrich Comp TA tires with lots of life left. The rear spoiler goes up and down automatically as it should. The interior is clean and in very good condition. The car has passed smog, and is registered till June 2011. The car has a clean carfax, however the reason the owner traded the car in was that the dealership made a clerical errror when it went in for service, wrote less miles than it had.....so there is a discrepancy on the mileage record (they wrote 115,xxx miles instead of 117,xxx miles). Also, he drove it so little that he didn't realize that the odometer had stopped working. So, for the past year to eighteen months the odometer has not been working. Basically I would estimate that the car was driven very little more than what the odo shows.....just what you would expect an elderly urologist to have driven in a year! Therefore, the car will be sold 'true miles unknown' TMU, that is how the new car dealership are selling it to us.
