For Sale: 1968 Pontiac Firebird NO RESERVE! It's baaaaacccckkkkk! I've lowered my price, dropped the reserve and am ready to sell... don't miss out on this beautiful classic pontiac! Car Details: Mileage: The odometer reads 65,378 Exterior color: Red. The paint has a great shine, however this is no trailer queen, it has the usual chips, scratches, and flaws one might expect, it is not perfect. Interior color: Red. The rug is worn and could be replaced (I have a replacement rug in the box that I received when I bought the car that goes with it), it is not perfect. Engine: It has the pontiac 350 engine, it runs fine, no major leaks, smoking or tapping. Transmission: it has the powerglide two speed automatic and it shifts as it should. Please note that it does have a seepage leak and periodically I have needed to add fluid, it appears to be a seal. Air conditioning: This is a factory a/c car and it works as it should. Radio: it has a Delco AM radio in the dash (lights up but has not worked since I bought the car). Brakes: two years ago I installed an SSBC front disc conversion on the car including the master cylinder, front lines and all the bits. The saved the front drums and they go with the car. Suspension: when I did the brakes I did a complete suspension upgrade; ball joints, bushing, bigger sway bar, shocks, coils, rear leafs and all the bits. I then had a professional wheel alignment done. Wheels: The car has modern 16" Wheel Vintiques ralley II chrome wheels with new PMD center caps. Tires: The car has modern 16" Firestone Wide Oval Tires. They are about 3 years old with maybe 1500 miles on them. Ignition: It has a new electronic ignition, a petronix ignitor and coil. Cooling system: This summer I completely overhauled the cooloing system (hoses, belts, fan clutch, hi flow water pump, flow tested the radiator, and new cap. Battery: New interstate battery Fall of 09'. Exhaust: Just prior to purchasing the car the previous owner had a new dual exhaust system installed. Window Felts & Gaskets: When I bought the car it came with new window felts and window gaskets, which have been installed. Headlamps: I installed hew halogen headlamps a while back; they are simple plug ins. Everything I have done to the vehicle has been of a "bolt on" nature so that anything could be easily undone.
