It's just impossible to find something as silky smooth and comfortable on the open road, that is this capable of high speeds. Very good performance from 5.0 litre V12. Reasonable fuel consumption for such a large, big-engined car, about 20 mpg average. Weighs almost 2 tonnes fully fueled. sports car, but a fast luxury tourer able to cover great distances at high average speeds in comfort due to good ride quality, comfortable seats, very low wind noise, low engine noise and low exhaust noise. But nice to use also for just popping out to the shops. The 8 series has presence, it has the proportions of supercars, The car drives like a dream, very quick, responsive and stable. This car is meant to be driven fast and you have to remind yourself to slow down since the speed is so comfortable. This is probably the most beautiful car ever made. I put this in the same class as the new Jaguar XK8, the CL55, the 911, the Ferrari 550 and Daytona and the modern Aston Martins. For looks, exclusivity, performance and price, the 850Ci is far ahead of any car I have ever dreamed about. The car is perfectly proportioned from every angle. It was serviced by Valencia BMW, it has 2 new throttle bodies device new oil service and recent CA smog test,... The stripe decals are removable.
