You are viewing a 1972 FJ40 Landcruiser. This vehicle is completely original. There has been no customization or modifications in any way. It has spent most of its life on a ranch in eastern Oregon (very dry climate...no rust) and was not even liscensed for the last 8 years while there. It is very mechanically sound. Recently installed new plugs, wires, dist. cap/rotor, points, heavy duty battery, starter. All new gear and oil lubricants/filters throughout. 4 wheel drive train is in great condition. 3 speed transmission is in great condition. Has a few typical drips for a vehicle this old. Body is in great condition. A couple dings on the hood and one behind the drivers door (see pics). Typical paint oxidation. The interior is very plain Jane but in very good condition. Headliner is excellent. Dash has 2 hairline cracks in plastic from Sun exposure. Seats could be recovered depending on what the vehicle is to be used for. Exterior turn signals need replaced. (after all...it is 38 yrs old and all original). This unit is a perfect candidate for complete restoration, simple suspension kit and tires, or crawl around the mountains and town as is! I have a full set of snow/mud chains, original gas can, and original owners manual. Buyer to pick up vehicle (western Wyoming) and deliver cash/money order upon arrival.
