1969 Honda CT

I'm sure 3000 miles is a stretch ..this bike runs great , I don't knnow the exact mileage , but an older fella had it , he bought it new ...used it very little , he told me when I bought it , it was stored & started each spring/ summer ..I guess he said he maintanence started the bike ..It ran w/ the old plug & points , but I put new ones in it ..but I road 3-4 yrs on it ..So I bought a new plug, never ran ...I wanted to get new points again ...but it starts & runs , w/ starting fluid ...The carb , is missing the adjustment screw , so I use washers , to take up the spacing , between the new throttle cable & the carb inlet ...works ...but , it does need that carb / ajusment piece ... Hi, I've got this 1969 Honda Ct 90 trail bike . I've been riding it in the back yard & down at the trax & trails for the last 3 yrs . I've owned it 4 yrs this year . Its in great shape , I bought the correct handle bars off Ebay , when I first got the ct90 , Its got all the wires , incase you want to wire up blinkers..The front light I just hard wired , w/ a toggle switch. I bought a new / NOS throttle cable from my local Honda dealer . Also bought new back tube , points , plug , grips,battery, I had the seat recovered , by a shop... Its got all the farings , everythings in great shape ! It started up last time I started it about 5 months ago , I used starter fluid though . , but I think new points would be great to put in it, I have a brand new spark plug , I haven't used ...I was waiting to put points in it ,, but I'm deciding to sale it . This is the model with the LOW & HIGH transmission..I re- routed the tail pipe w/ a small spark arrester on it .. Its a nice little bike .. It needs a little more work ..but the over all condition is good & it runs ..but new points would serve it well... brakes are great , rims are straight to my knowledge ..nice tire on the front , could use a rear tire , in the near future .. Nice start on a nice bike .,,, Oh, the spark plug wire end , came off & the wire is short , to short to remount it . Oh, the miles are pretty low , I got this from a older man , that bought it new , buut probably didn't ride it for years ..Mileage is unknown ..goes around 25 MPH, or more , no problem though ... Even though it runs very healthy , no smoking , I get a ittle grey , which is carb mixture ..but since the age I have to sell as is.... good luck bidding ...thanks Kevin
