Vehicle Detail
Great Barn Find!! I have for sale a 1968 Dodge Coronet 440 2dr hardtop. 100% ORIGINAL and 100% NUMBERS MATCHING! For parts or restoration. It has a running 318 automatic on the column with 55,008 original miles. From what i can tell the frame is solid on it. And appears to have no rust or weak spots in the floor boards. Has the original bias-ply front tires and bias-ply snow tires on the rear. The original spare tire and jack are in the trunk. Also has original trunk mat. The vinyl top is in near perfect condition with no rust bubbles under it. This car is 100% complete with the exception of 1 hubcap and the 440 emblems for the quarters. The driver side taillight is broke. Both quarters have rust and bondo work was started on the passenger quarter prior to me owning it. Both quarters are still repairable. All the glass is good except windshield has crack in it. I have the original set of Chrysler keys but the trunk lock has been broke out. This car would be great for restoration completion or would make an excellent GTX or Superbee Clone. A man bought it in 1968 from in St. Ann, Missouri. He gave it to his daughter in 1972 so this is only a 2 owner car kept in the family. This car has been sitting in a barn untouched for over 20 years. Tires were aired up (and still hold air) and pulled out of barn. I purchased it as a restoration project. I put new plugs and wires and points in it to get it running and it started up after priming the carb. Brakes dont work so car will have to be hauled. ( battery in Picture does not come with car) This car also comes with the original MINT CONDITION owners manual along with the certicard from chrysler and is in MINT CONDITION as well. It also has the original customer care warranty booklet in mint condition and the thank you letter from the dealership. I have the clear title from January 3rd of 1972 when he transfered it to his daughter. A $250.00 deposit through paypal is due within 72 hours of auction end. Car must be picked up within 7 days unless buyer contacts me with other arrangement or it will be relisted. Thanks for looking and happy bidding!!
