Hello Fellow Ebayers! You are viewing my 1972 Plymouth Satellite Regent 9 passenger station wagon. It has had One Owner from new. I bought this wagon Last month with the intention of using it for family camping trips but it is just too darn nice and I am going to let it go with NO RESERVE! The Woman I purchased it from bought it Brand new. She was a stewardess for Pan-Am and her husband was a Pilot. She had not driven the wagon in the last year and sold it to me. She has been servicing it in the same garage for over 30 years and has records. I also have dealer info, owners manual made out to her. She even kept a mileage Log book! The car appears completely original and is just plain awesome! I will break it down into groups so that I can describe it as fairly as possible. The Body and Paint- look at the photos! unbelievable this thing won me over at first sight its almost 40 years and looks like new. Ive driven it around locally and everybody looks at it and many comment on it. I even had a guy showing his kids explaining this is what daddy grew up in before SUVs!!! imagine a world that doesn't remember station wagons! The only issues are above the rear door/liftgate handle are some tiny tiny bubbles and just ahead of the rear tires are two small rust spots. I was quoted 500 dollars to fix. The rest is perfect. all the seams pinch welds and usual trouble spots look amazing. I haven't had time to Wax it but I will this week. The Interior-I would say Perfect but they weren't perfect new but this thing is darn close. the drivers side rear armrest has a small crack in it the rest is perfect! no fading no cracks virtually no wear. The car has the very cool optional 150 mph speedometer and functioning Air Conditioning!!! The Tires- The car has cool proper looking poly-steel tires with plenty of Service left. The car steers and drives smoooooth and straight. The Systems- All lights horn and electronics work. The power rear window and child safety electronic lock work. The AM radio is in perfect working order along with the rear speaker and control. The underneath- The floors and rails and rockers are in truly unbelievable condition. There is an extra crossmember for the wagon and on the end cap of the passenger side is a small rust spot that the bodyshop looked at and told me to just treat with some special rust paint and leave alone so I did! Nobody can believe how clean and leak free it is. Its an amazing survivor. The Drivetrain- The wagon sports a 318 V8 with an automatic that does not leak or smoke. It really drives nice and shifts perfect! This car runs so amazing and looks so cool. It should be bought by a collector/ car show person that wont wear it out...its made it too far looking so nice. I started the bidding at its year ( way less than I paid) hoping the ebay market brings it way up to a fair price. The winner will not be dissapointed!
