This is a 2001 Ford ZX2. It is in very good shape with very low miles for its age. This car has been in my family since it was new. I am currently selling it for my daughter, who is now the owner. My father purchased the car new and drove it until 2006 and 44,000 miles. At that time he purchased another car and gave this car to my daughter. She didn’t end up getting her driver’s license for 2 more years after that. I did not want the car to sit for that long, so I registered it and drove it occasionally to save gas during the time when it was $4.25/gallon. I drove the car from 44,000 miles to 53,000. During that time I averaged slightly over 31 mpg with mixed driving. The car was involved in a very minor accident when my daughter first started driving it. It has been repaired and is good as new. There was no insurance claim or record of the accident. I am only mentioning this to be completely honest about the vehicle history. The damage consisted of the passenger front fender, rubber nose piece and the lower control arm. The passenger door and hood were repainted also just to blend the paint. The paint color matched very well and cannot be seen from a distance. The clear coat does have a few runs in it however, especially around the passenger door handle, as seen in the pictures. I’m sure this could be sanded out and buffed, but I was afraid to screw it up. Recently the car encountered some road debris, which damaged the rubber nose piece. You will see in the pictures that the lower grill is missing and the rubber nose piece is cracked. Other than that the car is in near perfect condition. The car has a factory power sunroof, working A/C, power steering and brakes, 6 disk CD changer, power windows and locks, automatic transmission and an aftermarket remote auto-starter. The tires have less than 10,000 miles on them. The battery, alternator and serpentine belt were changed at 56,000 miles. I just replace the front brake pads and rotors, and an emergency brake cable. I also just installed new headlights. One of them had moisture inside, so I changed them both so they would match. This vehicle has a clean title in hand, and can be viewed by appointment.
