2006 HONDA SHADOW AERO MOTOR TRIKE Normal 0 Up for your consideration and bids is this beautiful 2006 Honda VT750 Shadow Aero Trike. As stated above, this is not a “trike conversion kit” that was installed in somebody’s garage, but a brand-new (in 2006) Honda VT750 Shadow Aero (Shaft Drive) motorcycle, converted to three wheels by Motor Trike at their factory. The paint exactly matches the factory Honda colors and is a pleasing two-tone dark metallic gray (almost black) and light gold. Honda calls this color combo Pearl Black/Metallic Titanium. I purchased this trike last summer, and we have had a blast riding it! It is easy to ride, safe and very comfortable. The 750cc engine is a liquid-cooled V-twin engine that produces impressive power over a broad rpm range. Crankshaft features long-stroke design producing a strong V-twin feel and low-rpm torque peak. A Single 34mm constant-velocity carburetor offers crisp throttle response. Three valve cylinder heads utilize two spark plugs per cylinder for excellent combustion efficiency and high power output. Finned cylinders enhance appearance and give a big-bike look. Aluminum radiator maintains consistent engine temperature for optimum performance and long engine life. Mounted between frame rails for enhanced appearance. Wide-ratio five-speed transmission. Reliable electric starting system. Ignition with electronic advance offers dependability and is maintenance-free. Air-injection system reduces emissions by injecting air into the exhaust ports to ensure complete combustion. Sleek two-into-one exhaust system encloses two fully independent pipe and silencer sets in a single long, large-diameter case. The front tire is the standard Honda 120/90/17 'big bike' tire on a chrome spoked wheel, and the rear tires are BFG Radial TA 235/60/15, mounted on American Racing aluminum wheels. This trike is easily capable of 70-80 MPH cruising, and is also perfect for around town riding, solo or two-up. The generous locking trunk easily holds two helmets and more. This Trike has all of the most desirable Motor Trike options; Trunk Carpet, Fender bras, Luggage Rack, Windshield, passenger sissy bar with padded backrest and rider floorboards from Cobra. The rear suspension is equipped with adjustable coil-over shocks and air adjustable shocks on both sides. (Air shock fill valve located in trunk) This trike has just had an oil and filter change, as well as a new K&N air filter installed, and is completely serviced and ready to ride anywhere! The trike has 6510 miles on it, and has very minor paint nicks that a street driven bike of this age and mileage would have, but overall, it is very clean very shiny, and very well maintained.
