I have a 1972 BMW 3.0 CS that was found in a barn in south Texas.This car was brought back form Germany the early 80's, it still has the original German tags to prove it, and has been in a barn for almost 30 years. From what I can tell it has never been registered in the USA after it was imported. My plans for this car was for it to be for my daughter after it was restored. The body needs some work and the rest of the car would have to be gone through. I did not wish to sell this car but we have a baby on the way, and would like to see it go to someone that will restore it. I am asking for a non-refundable deposit of $500 and the balance to be paid within 7 days after the end of the auction. I will only take PayPal as payment for deposit . The car will have to be picked up in south Texas within 14 day after payment clears. The mileage on this car is in kilometers. I will only give a bill of sale for this car and a bonded title will need to obtained. This car is a classic. This BMW was not sold in the USA but was bought in Germany by a member of the US consulate and brought back.. If restored fully, the car can reach a value of up to $20,000.00 plus. I am well aware of what the car is worth and what is the potential worth if fully restored. The ONLY reason we are selling this car is because my wife is having a difficult pregnancy and we are looking at a premature birth, which has forced her to stop working. We are selling it with great difficulty, but difficult times call for difficult decisions. So if you are looking for a rare, collectible BMW and have the time and money to restore it, this car is a steal! I guarantee, you will not find a better deal than this.
