Good Day Mercedes Collectors! You are bidding on a 1969 Mercedes 230. This car is so clean! We here at Farmington Auto Auction are selling this vehicle for the owner, who has donated the car. All the proceeds will be given to the American Council of the Blind. We have a clear original New Mexico USA Title. When the car arrived here at our facility, we did a complete detail and inspection. We found a fuel line leaking, (we have replaced fuel line) Bad battery, (replaced battery), and the gas was bad in the tank. (we drained all fuel and replaced with clean fresh fuel) As you can see, there is one very small rust spot at the bottom of wheel well. Car has been in dry climate of New Mexico most or all of it's life. I can say that basically this Mercedes is rust free. The paint is in very good condition. There is a small dent in hood. (see photos) The interior is very clean with no cracks or tears in the seats. The dash pad is cracked. The 6 cyl. gas engine, tranny, and clutch are all operating properly. The muffler needs replaced. This Mercedes is very solid and could be driven home if you are the successful bidder. The Car will be sold to the highest bidder. There is no reserve.
