Vehicle Detail
I purchased it as a project for this winter to get back into another 6spd supra since I miss driving my white one now that its drag car, but found a 97 that needed some engine work instead so I picked that up and am now selling this. I made this mistake of not looking close enough to notice some of the parts it was missing before purchasing...yah live yah learn I guess. I purchased it only a short time ago from an insurance auction. The car has a CLEAN IDAHO TITLE. Im not looking to make any money here and simply thought I would try to sell it to an enthusiast before taking it back and trying my luck at the auction. I know hard tops are rare and highly sought after, so this is your chance to get into one for cheap!! The car does need a bit of work work, but the basics are there. Clean title, 6spd and most importantly HARDTOP. Someone could easily have a clean title hard top and get this as a running/driving 6spd car for under 20k. Please bear with me, there will be a LOT of details as I am 100% honest when I sell things. So please read through everything before asking questions. I try to cover everything when listing the car. The car starts right up and NO smoke at all. Engine runs great and sounds great as well. No weird or odd noises coming from anywhere in the engine bay. the lower IC pipe on the intake side needs to be replaced. ( See video below for a walk around of the car with the car running) EXACT MILES ARE THE CAR ARE UNKNOWN TO ME. Cluster in the car when I took possession was not to original cluster. The last mileage statement on carfax/autocheck shows 50k miles, but that was a while ago. Based off the condition of some of the parts on the car I would guess it has close to 80-100k miles. I purchased it exactly how it sits. It was smacked in the door by something, couldn't have been a car, I was thinking maybe a motorcycle or something small. It took out the door, damaged part of the A frame, the fender, and the hood. An OEM door should not be much work to get back on the car as the two main highe mounts by the fender don't appear to be altered or bent what so ever ( Please see pictures) The rear where the door attaches however is a little kinked and will need some work. The rocker panel did not appear to take any damage at the car still rolls straight. The inside of the A frame/pillar also took no damage, it only appears the outside "skin" got pealed back. Passenger airbag is deployed and will need to be replaced. Im definitely no body expert when it comes to repairs, but I also took a magnet over the entire car and the only place I noticed bondo work was on the rear driver 1/4 panel down by the blinker. OEM VIN stickers are not on the front bumper, rear bumper, or either fender up front. Please check the free autocheck ebay provides. The car has been in a few accidents, but again still has a clean title. The rear bumper is not hanging on the car correctly; this could be because of the damage done to the rear driver 1/4 panel in a previous accident The car also has NO DRIVELINE IN IT. Meaning no 6spd rear end, axles or driveshaft, and NO V160 transmission. The car has a 5spd trans installed. Obviously its not original but its good to help prove that this engine runs great since the car is able to start up. (I have videos below of a walk around with the car on) I have a complete 5spd rear end and axles that I will include with the car at this price, all you would need is a driveshaft to get the car drivable if you wanted. $9500 for it as a roller without the Motor/trans/ecu, FMIC and gauges. Shipping is less then $1000 coast to coast. While shipping is up to the buyer, I will help arrange pick up and delivery. I encourage all prospective buyers to ask questions or even view the car in person if feasible. The car as a project, and is sold as is with no warranty.
