You are bidding on a 1979 Ford Ranchero 351c Motor C-6 Trans, 9 Inch Rear End, which has been sitting for the last 6 years that I know of. This car was running before the storage period, the last owner would start the car ones a mouth until the battery died two years ago. The owner claimed that it was running but there is no battery so we wear unable to test. I don't really know if the motor runs so just figure on re-powering and if you don't need to you are that much ahead of the game. He also said that the transmission needs to be rebuilt. 99,999 true miles unknown due to 5 digit odometer, it is a very solid car with very little rust and would make a great restoration project. I have been storing it in hopes to find the time and money to restore it myself but have been unsuccessful. My loss can be your gain if you are looking for a project car, or in the process of restoring another car and need parts.
