Vehicle Detail
Hello fellow Ebay'ers! After much thought, I have made the painful decision to sell my 1994 Nissan 300ZX. Here is a "copy and paste" link to pics and a few videos: http://s172.photobucket.com/albums/w36/csb_09/1994%20Nissan%20300ZX/?start=all . It is a GREAT car and I would love to keep it, however, I have too many cars and only one behind;). So...here it is, up for grabs. Here are the specs: 1994, 2-seater, 5-speed manual, A/C (ice cold), C/C (works), P/W, P/L, power mirrors, aftermarket alarm, rear wiper/defrost, power driver's seat, leather. I flew to Dallas, Texas earlier this year and drove this car back. The former owner was a Z-car collector and this was the last of his Z32 cars. It was the one he waited to sell, and sold with reluctance. It has spent its life in either Arizona (where he purchased it) or Texas (where he relocated to after buying it). There is not a speck of rust and the underside looks amazing. Here is a list of recent maintenance: OEM Nissan power steering pump, OEM Nissan A/C compressor with R134A refrigerant, timing belt, pulleys, tensioners and water pump, accessory belts, all 6 injectors, rear main seal, all fluids, valve cover gaskets and spark plugs. Here is a list of modifications/alterations: Wilwood 6-piston front big-brake kit, Wilwood 4-piston rear big-brake kit (from Arizona Z-Car), 15 position Arizona Z-Car coilover kit (with braided stainless lines), Centerforce Stage 1 clutch, staggered-width 18" wheels from Australia (unsure of brand, but $400.00 each new), Michelin Pilot Sport tires (285/35ZR18 and 245/40ZR18), an aluminum underdrive pulley, single-cone K & N intake, a custom cat back exhaust and, in my opinion, the coolest part...a one-of-a-kind nose that is blended with the fenders (see pics). The front turn signals are recessed behind the "bumper mouth mesh" and they work properly. The nose, itself, is made from fiberglass and was very, very well constructed. It was constructed by the brother of the previous owner; he was/is a master auto body technician and really knew what he was doing. There is even a square, removable, aluminum access panel which now replaces the stock, cheap, plastic shield under the engine. The car won "Best Modified Z-Car" at a 2006 or 2007 show in California, for what it's worth. The car runs and drives absolutely great...no pulling, no shaking, no clunks, no smoking. It is, as far as I am aware, in no need of repair. The cost of the alterations, not including the nose, was in excess of $6000.00. The interior is very clean, the dash is NOT cracked, the t-tops do NOT leak and everything, aside from the power antenna and the E-brake (due to the Wilwood kit), works. It is just as clean underneath as it is on top. Clean title in my name, clean Carfax...always well-maintained and loved. Original color, but has been repainted...it was a quality job and looks beautiful. Any questions, please feel free to call me at 763-742-9037. I have purchased, and sold, many cars on Ebay over the years. Please view my feedback and know that I am to be trusted. Thanks, Steve. On Oct-28-10 at 06:05:50 PDT, seller added the following information: UPDATE: I have received a few inquiries as to whether, or not, the car has any "defects". Well...despite the fact that it is a VERY nice car and drives excellently, it is not 100% perfect. It is, if I'm being honest (and I am;), a 16 year-old car that has been driven semi-regularly. Granted, it has always been taken care of very, very well and only driven in a salt/snow free climate, but still...it is not 100% perfect. Here is a list of "defects" I would point out if I were to "pick on" the car: as mentioned above, the E-brake (due to the Wilwood big-brake kit) and the power antenna mast (the antenna motor still works 100%) don't function. The front of the nose has some minor rock chips in the paint from 4 years/20K miles of fair-weather driving, some of the rubber door-window trim is original/worn and could stand to be replaced (cheap and easy). The outside lumbar portion of the driver's seat has a 1" wear spot (the rest of the seat, and the passenger seat = perfect). That's about it. Mechanically, the car is wonderful and performs brilliantly. Cosmetically, the car is very, very good...way above average, that's for sure. You will receive many compliments, over time, as you drive it...I know I have. After roughly 8 years on Ebay, I have never had an individual purchase a car from me and not be completely happy. So...in the interest of full disclosure, I felt I should take a minute and mention the above. Again....please feel free to contact me should you have any questions: 763-742-9037. The reserve has been met (I set it low;), so good luck! Steve.
