Hi! For sale is a 1984 GMC S-15 (Chevy S10) Sierra 2WD (6 Foot Box) pickup. It has a Factory Original 2.2 Diesel engine by Isuzu in it with the 4 speed (3.73 gears) manual transmission in it. (the listing does not let me select the 2.2 diesel). The truck is 99% original and includes the build sheet. I cannot see one thing that is not original including all paint, panels, etc. Even the 1984 Olympics sticker is still on it. It is in excellent A1 condition for the year. It is also 98% rust free with nearly no rust. There is a small spot on the left front fender, and one other small surface spot from a scratch on the right side The bottom of the tailgate also has a very small amount. There are a few (about 2-4) more very small surface spots that are not noticeable unless you get super close. It looks like a California truck but has been a Rural Nebraska truck. The frame is in excellent condition as well. The odometer broke at 30,000 miles and was replaced. It no shows 7,700 miles. It has about 137,000 ,miles on the truck. The engine starts, sounds, and runs excellent. It drives and brakes excellent. It shifts excellent. Clutch is excellent. The exhaust is rumbly because it's broken off at the midpoint. Tires all match and are excellent condition and like new. Windshield and glass are good. Heater works great. No A/C. Has original radio. The tape deck works but the radio reception sounds scratchy and does not get stations nor displays. It does have power steering and tilt wheel. It had a new timing belt and water pump with all new belts in 2009 (less than 10k ago). I do not have a record of that but it has been done. Interior is excellent condition, including headliner. Sliding glass is cool too. Also installed are gauges for water temp, oil pressure, and volts. All work great. Also has block heater. Overall it is just an unreal truck for the year, and extremely clean. If you're a small pickup diesel fan, then you found probably the most rare and nicest trucks of it's vintage. The injection pump was redone within the past 10,000 miles I was told. I would drive this truck anywhere, anytime. Just make sure you have extra time because it is slow. The paint is original and it is worn in some spots on top, as if it was buffed too long in spots. In the third picture you can see the fade between the windshield and the hood. It's from being 26 years old. Same for seepage/leaks....it doesn't leave puddles anywhere but it isn't factory dry either. So please don't have huge expectations of it being new or restored to new. This is a daily driver. I just took it for a spin last night (one of my buddies has never got to drive a Isuzu diesel) and it is a blast to drive. Any questions call me.
