The car does NOT start. I'm the second owner of this vehicle apart from the dealership that owned it after the original owner. I bought this car with 69,000 miles, and had the vehicle serviced at the recommend intervals and oil changed regularly as specified by the manufacturer. The major timing belt and water pump done at around 175,000 miles, I still have all the service records and receipts from the mechanic since I've owned the car. Brakes and tires were replaced last year, there is one small ding on the passenger side fender; the front bumper has some scratches, the rear bumper has a few spots with paint chips. The interior leather is in GREAT shape with no tears. The car has been standing for about 6 months now. It's too bad that I don't have the time or money to get it towed to a shop, it will make a great restoration project for someone else! The cooling system had a ruptured hose, and I had the hose replaced by the mechanic. After that, the engine started up with difficulty and white smoke came out of the exhaust. I took it back to the mechanic and he said they have to run a diagnostic on the engine to see what the problem is. Frankly, I cannot afford it right now to get a new motor so that is the reason the car is up for auction. I have the service records from the period I drove the Audi, and whoever wins the auction will find that this Audi A4 2.8 Quattro was indeed a well-maintained vehicle. Fuel economy was around 18 MPG City, 22 MPG Highway.
