You are bidding on a 1998 Ford F-150 XL 4.2L V6, regular cab truck. This truck has 154114 miles on it. The truck does NOT burn any oil. This truck has a new paint job on it, it used to be red. When the truck was repainted the bottom side of the bed was sandblasted along with the frame. The areas that were sandblasted were sprayed with pour 15 rust prevent paint. The truck has had a lot of new parts installed on it since I have owned it. Parts include; new clutch, slave cylinder, plugs, wires, coil pack, timing belt, lower control arms, shocks in rear and front driver, k&n air filter, gas tank straps, rear drums & brakes, front rotors, brakes, and bearings, new wheels and tires, tires still brand new, injectors, driver side caliper, new hitch, four new polk audio speakers (NICE ONES) I am sure there is more, but I can not think of anymore off the top of my head. I purchased this truck about 4 years ago for my daily driver to and from work, I now have a jeep wrangler that I drive around and don't use this anymore. I redid the truck because my step mother backed into the side of the bed backing out of her driveway. This was no major or even minor of an accident. I used the insurance money to repaint it and fix the work myself since I work as a body man. I thought that I would use this as my hunting truck, so I used bed liner on the lower part of the truck and the bed rails. I also used it on the roof of the truck cause I liked the look. This truck runs great, and I do hate to sell it, but its sitting in my garage because no one drives it. There is one place in the driver side of the bed where someone hit it with a door im guessing when they opened up their door, and it cracked the paint on the side of the bed. There is no cd player in the truck right now, however we can negotiate that. If the truck sells, I will include the left over paint that goes with it, I have already detailed the inside of the truck, cleaned all the upholstery and floors, I will polish the wheels and tires and have a extra cap for the driver front wheel, since it is missing. The tail gate is not on it, however I do have it, its not in the greatest shape, and if you want a new one, I can order one for you (extra charge, create a new Buy it Now auction on here) so you can pay for it extra, but I will be able to get it at dealer cost and will sell it to you for the same. There are no bed rail covers for this, however, there is a place in town that I can get them for $100 bucks and they are bushwhacker brand. (Good Stuff) I would not hesitate to drive this truck clear across the country. I have put quite a bit of parts into this, some of them didn't need replaced, but I did it because I didn't know how many miles there were on the old ones.
