DESERT AUTOSPORT IS VERY PLEASED TO BRING TO THE MARKETPLACE THIS 1999 FORD F150 XLT EXTRA-CAB, 4 DOOR, FOUR WHEEL DRIVE TRUCK. WE RECENTLY TOOK THIS TRUCK IN ON TRADE AND IT WAS SO CLEAN THAT WE DECIDED NOT TO SEND IT TO THE AUCTION FOR WHOLESALE. THE EXTERIOR IS FINSIHED IN BRIGHT RED WITH A TAN LOWER ACCENT AND COMPLIMENTED WITH A PRAIRIE TAN CLOTH INTERIOR. IT IS POWERED BY A 5.4 LITER TRITON MOTOR THAT MAKES 260 HORSEPOWER AND IS BACKED TO A 4 SPEED AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION. IT HAS SPENT IT'S ENTIRE LIFE IN THE RUST FREE NEVADA DESERT AND IT MAKES A HUGE DIFFERENCE WHEN COMPARED TO A TRUCK FROM A RUSTY HARSH CLIMATE. IT IS AN XLT MODEL WHICH GIVES IT ALL THE POWER FEATURES PLUS IT HAS FACTORY KEYLESS ENTRY, A 3:55 LIMITED SLIP REAR AXLE, ICE COLD AIR CONDITIONING, CLOTH CAPTAINS CHAIRS WITH A CENTER CONSOLE, CLASS III TOW PACKAGE. PLUS IT HAS MANY NICE CUSTOM EXTRAS WHICH INCLUDE A ROLL-UP SOFT TONNEAU COVER, RUBBER BED MAT, CUSTOM CD PLAYER, GIBSON CAT-BACK EXHAUST SYSTEM WITH A CHROME TIP, TRAILER BRAKE CONTROLLER AND A SET OF CUSTOM 16 INCH STOCK SIZE WHEELS. THE ACCIDENT FREE PAINT AND BODY ARE IN VERY NICE OVERALL CONDITION AND HAS NO BLEMS WORTH NOTING ASIDE FROM SOME VERY MINOR LAQUAR CHECKING ON THE HOOD WHICH IS TYPICAL OF FORD PAINT. THE ODOR FREE INTERIOR IS ALSO IN GREAT SHAPE AND SHOWS MINIMAL WEAR. EVERYTHING WORKS WELL AND THE MINOR ISSUE TO MENTION IS THAT THE ODOMETER DIGITAL DISPLAY SOMETIMES LIGHTS UP AND SOMETIMES DOES NOT, HOWEVER IT DOES WORK 100% OF THE TIME AND IS ALSO A TYPICAL FORD ISSUE. MECHANICALLY WE JUST HAD THIS TRUCK INSPECTED IN OUR SHOP AND RUNS AND DRIVES GREAT. THIS REALLY IS A VERY NICE EXAMPLE OF A CLEAN USED FORD F150 AND IS NICER THEN THE MAJORITY OF THEM FOR SALE EVEN ONES WITH HALF THE MILEAGE. THE 4 MATCHED TIRES ARE ALL EVENLY WORN AND WILL NEED TO BE REPLACED SHORTLY, HOWEVER WE DID LOOK AROUND ON THE LOCAL CRAIG'S LIST AND SAW SEVERAL SETS OF 16 INCH TAKE OFF TIRES READILY AVAILABLE AND FAIRLY CHEAP AND WOULD BE A GOOD EXCUSE TO PUT SOME UPGRADED WHEELS AND TIRES ON IT AS WELL.
