OK. This is an original (meaning as it was produced. Exceptions will be explained.) 1971 Cutlass convertible. It was sitting for about 4 years under a carport up until July of 2010, after the original owner passed away. He managed to put 55,xxx ORIGINAL, not ODO tripped miles on the car over the years. Clean clear title.My friend purchased the car, but simply wants to put money into a Corvette restoration, so this one has to go.It has 90% tread on tires. He had the fuel tank removed and flushed. installed a new carburetor. A new brake booster, and a tune up. The top action works fine, but the switch is moody though. The convertible top fabric has a few minor tears and dirty, but nothing crazy. The interior is in great shape, with a couple of small seat fabric tears. The car has a easy presence about it and even the little lights work when the door is open.The body is in exceptional shape for a car this old, but has never been painted, thus the rust you can see from the pictures. (If you need more photos, just E-Mail me.)The most notable area would be at the drivers side where the windshield and dash meet there is a hole. The engine and ride are AWESOME. The motor has that smooth GM V8 torque. No issues. The ride feels rock solid, yet comfortable like a couch. Everything is right where it should be, and the air gives a nice breeze at any speed.Thats all i can tell you about this car.
