We are selling our 1998 Ford Windstar Mini-Van!We have used it for travelling the North American West Coast from Vancouver to San Diego but are leaving soon and so it is not needed anymore. Is has been a VERY reliable car - I drove 2000km (thats 1420 miles) in two weeks and I did not have any problems with it! In total I drove it about 10.000km (7100 miles) in two months and I have nothing bad to tell about this car, transmission is great! Mileage right now is 175.800, but will be around 176.500 when you buy it.APPEARANCE: The appearance is OK, but if you care a lot about cosmetics, this is not a car for you. Dents and scratches on the outside, few things on the inside, the windshield has a crack at the bottom (not a problem at all since it is at the very bottom) and a little rust in the wheel arches (does not affect the inside!).TECHNICHAL: Only two small problems with whats under the hood: The parking brake is not working, but I never had to use it (it's not very important, not like it is with manual cars), so it is not a big deal (unless you are planning to park on VERY steep hills regularly). Anyways: thats why the "brakes light" is on. Secondly, one wiper is not working properly. Just got the smog certificate today!It's fairly good on gas for an older car, lots of little bells and whistles, seats can be taken out (lots of space), electric windows, mirrors, seats...Very good family car! Very good travel car! Very good first car!As we are travelling, it is very hard for us to arrange a meeting, but we'll try our best. We migt be near you as we are travelling from Los Angeles to San Diego during the next weeks!We can bring the car right to the next registration office ANYWHERE between Los Angeles and San Diego if you buy it - we're flexible.
