Vehicle Detail

FOR YOUR CONSIDERATION: This is a very nice car!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It’s a 1959 Dodge Coronet. We think it was a one family owned car, we think the 47720 mileage is correct, we know it is a Alabama car, we think it has the original engine and transmission. The paint shines like a black diamond, the chrome gleams, the glass is crystal clear and the engine runs like a sowing machine. I encourage you to come and look at the car, don't be taken by misrepresented cars!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! VIN 3150650 MILEAGE: 47720 HISTORY: Lot of documentation with this car as you can see in the picture with it laying in the truck. It’s a Alabama car and one owner before it went though use. TITLE: Clear Alabama title of registration and bill of sale in hand, it had a permenant vintage vehicle tag and was last registered in 1990. IS THERE ANY RUST PROBLEMS? None that I can find. IS THERE ANY ACCIDENT DAMAGE? None that I can find. WHY AM I SELLING THIS CAR? I’m a classic car restorer, but when I find a car I like, can sell for a fair market price and make a few bucks, I buy it. PAINT: The paint has a brilliant shine, it has no rust, no dents and no dings (well maybe one tiny ding that did not break the paint. Under close inspection you will see many speckles in the paint, mostly on the top of the passenger fenders and a couple of other flat places and some thin paint. The car is very straight when you look down the sides. The paint is nice, but not perfect because of age, you will not see the places at a glance, but you will see them under a critical inspection. “I would not even consider painting the car. CHROME: Super, super nice chrome with no dulling and no peeling, the chrome is near perfect. INTERIOR: Very nice, the only real place that I see is a tiny place in the bottom of the passengers seat, it is small, look at my pictures. GLASS: Clear as crystal, the only thing I can see is a tiny chip on the passengers side windshield. The glass is flat and divided in the center, it doesn’t bother me, but if it does you it a easy cheap fix. ENGINE: Flat-head 6 cylinder that runs like it should. It is cold natured and you have to pump it to start and let it warm up. The car is very cold natured, I guess it has a right to be as old as it is. TRANSMISSION: I think it works as it should, its one of the odd fluid drives. I have only had one and they are odd, sort of manual with a clutch, but not all manual. BRAKES: Stops good. STEERING: Drives great. WHEELS AND TIRES: Nice wide whites with original rims and hubcaps, they are bias belted so they will bump untill they warm up. LIGHTS: The head lights work, tail lights work, the turn signals are not working, I'll check them out. WIPERS WORK! SPEEDOMETER WORKS! HORN does not WORK! GUAGES: They all work! HOW DO THE DOORS AND HOOD OPEN AND CLOSE? Great! PAPERWORK: I know what to do! I am a Tennessee licensed car dealer and have sold cars all over the US and exported many. The license and bonding is expensive for a small father/son operation, but need to make things legal and make them happen without problems. THIS IS NOT AN AUCTION, THIS IS A FIXED PRICE LISTING: I reserve the right to stop the listing at any time and sale the car “come look”. I RESERVE TH RIGHT TO STOP THE LISTING AT ANY TIME. THE CAR IS FOR SALE ON THE LOCAL MARKET AND OTHER PLACES. CONTACT INFO: my cell is 423-506-8987, I do not answer when driving, while meeting with people, after about 8:00 PM eastern time or on Sunday morning or Sunday nights. Please leave a voice mail and I’ll get back. I do check my emails several times a day. cell 423-506-8987 email: dreamcar@live.com WHERE THE CAR IS LOCATED: The car is here at my home in Athens, Tennessee. Athens is in east Tennessee, we are 50 miles below Knoxville. Look at a Road Atlas and follow interstate 75 south from Knoxville. I live one mile and one turn from the interstate exit. My zip code is 37303. The closest large airport is Knoxville. Athens does have a good small airport, but has no commercial flights. I WILL ONLY PICK YOU UP AT THE AIR PORT UNLESS THE CAR IS PAID FOR IN FULL, I HAVE MADE TOO MANY WILD GOOSE CHASES! RENTAL CARS ARE AVAILABLE AT THE AIRPORT! WHO YOU ARE BUYING FROM: My name is Ron Watson and I live in the small town of Athens, Tennessee “Athens is called the friendly city”. I am 63 years old and work with my son Keith who is now 38. I am now retired and living my dream restoring, selling and improving classic cars. I was an auto mechanics instructor at Tennessee Technology Center here in Athens for many years. I am also a veteran of the US Army; I served as a Chinook helicopter mechanic, crew chief and instructor in the late 60s. LIFE IS GOOD IN THE GREEN HILLS OF EAST TENNESSEE! US TRANSPORT: “No problem”, I can recommend a very large company, McNutt Auto Transport Service 800-755-2324. “open carrier only” US OR EXPORT: Classic Car Transport, LLC: This is a very good company that will handle any type of transport in the US or overseas with the white glove treatment. Call Steve at 913-749-0948 Email stevens@classiccartransport.com EXPORT: I like Trans Ocean Auto, they make it easy. 908-788-7001 transoceanauto@yahoo.com I also like Viking Transport, LLC, 757-727-7979 john@vikingtransport.net MY AREA CODE FOR TRANSPORT: The area code for Athens, Tennessee is 37303. I live 1 mile off a major interstate (I-75), so transport is usually very fast. PAYMENT: I require a $500 deposit for a Buy Now or to hold the car. Option 1: Pay the old school way face to face. Option 2: Pay by check, I will wait till the check clears, I have had a fake one. Option 3: The safest is to let our banks handle it, my bank is a member of the US Federal Reserve, this is wire transfer. Option 4: Pay Pal is good, but it cost a lot. It cost me around 3%, so you will have to add 3% to the price. INSPECTIONS: Please come look and be happy. All inspection have to be done before the end of the listing. I listed this car as I see it as a 64 year old car restorer, please come and judge it for your self. TRADES: Please no trades, unless you bring you classic car to me to inspect. I don't want any boats, motorcycles or motor homes. BOTTOM LINE: This is a nice car and the buy now price is my firm and lowest price. Thank You, Ron Watson cell: 423-506-8987 email: dreamcar@live.com IS THERE A WARRANTY? No!
