Vehicle Detail
For Sale is a 1968 Dodge D-100. This truck was purchased new in McPherson, Kansas, then bought by my Father sometime in the late 70's. It was driven until the mid-nineties, before it became a farm/yard work truck. It has sat dormant for a few years now, and I would now like to see it go to a new home. I hope there is someone somewhere that has interest in this vehicle. I know that there are components on this truck that are extremely robust, and still can be used. I am not sure what type of information to include. However if your looking at this listing you know what you would like to know, so please ask, and I will answer anything to the best of my ability. Currently the Truck doesn't have a battery and is missing a throttle linkage, so it is being sold as NOT RUNNING. Being this is a Forty Plus year old vehicle, there are many things that have weathered with time. The vehicle is SOLD AS IS and FOR PICKUP ONLY, unless special arrangements have been agreed upon prior to the close of the auction. Thank you for looking at my Auction and Happy Bidding !!On Oct-18-10 at 14:41:08 PDT, seller added the following information: I have received a great deal of interest in the truck since listing it. So I felt it was appropriate to add some additional information and photographs. Lifetime Locations : Kansas: 1967- 1980 (Father acquired 06/79); Texas: 1980- 1995; New Jersey: 1995- Present (Driven Daily Until 1998) Transmission: 4 Speed on the floor, New Process model: 435, (door plaque reads: 4 SYN; N PROC; 435). I am not sure what gear ration however. Either 6.68 Low Gear Ratio, or 4.56 Low Gear Ratio. Rear : Upgraded by original owner, to improve towing/ hauling capability. Originally Chrysler RA36, Could be either a Spicer 60 or 70. Most likely the Spicer 60 as this was standard equipment on the W100,D200,W200,P200. If need be I could look into this farther. Price: I am letting the market dictate the value of the truck. What one thinks an item is worth, can differ greatly, from what one will pay for that item. I have the Reserve set at a price that will ensured it was not sold for a few dollars. I will adjust the reserve, as I would like the auction to go live. I do want the truck SOLD. Thank you again for looking at my Auction, and please ask any other questions that I have not addressed.
