OK, Here's the the deal with this truck. We bought this truck from the MILITARY pretty much as you see it here. This is how we got the truck (AS-IS) and this is how we are going to sell it. NO guarantees. ***We don't have time to put the work into and don't have anywhere to store it so we are offering it up here AS-IS on eBay with NO RESERVE.*** THIS TRUCK WILL BE SOLD TO WHOEVER IS THE HIGH BIDDER! SO ONLY BID WITH CONFIDENCE, YOU ARE NOT WASTING YOUR TIME. We spent a few minutes with it this afternoon and got it running by putting some fresh diesel into it and a jumper-pack on it and cranking it over. We believe it had been sitting, possibly for many months/years, but it started right up! The military takes incredible care of their trucks so its no surprise!! ALSO: THERE IS A TAG ON THE ENGINE SHOWING IT BEING REPLACED/REBUILT IN 1991. HERE ARE VIDEOS OF US MOVING THE VEHICLE, THE ENGINE STARTING/REVVING, ETC: (DON'T TRY THAT AT HOME KIDS!) As far as the trans goes, were not able to drive it fast enough to get it past 1st gear, however it does shift fine into 1st and reverse without any problems or lags. We were also able to shift the transfer case into 4WD and the hub locks did turn smoothly into locking position. NOW, as you can see from the pictures, there are parts missing from this truck! its a project/parts truck! There is a dent on the hood and on the bed, etc, but the floors and underside are in actually pretty nice shape for its age and are solid without any major rust. I did not pull up the vinyl floor to see what is underneath but I believe from how it looks on the underside and on the part of the floors you can see that there is NOT major rusting. However on a truck this old you must assume there will be SOME rust. LOOK AT THE PICTURES! There are dents, surface corrosion/oxidation, body work both existing and needed, faded paint, dirty interior, inoperable components, missing tailgate, no doors, no back window, no glow plug solenoid/card, weak batteries, old dried out canvas, just to name a few of the things I saw that were wrong. OTHER PARTS MAY BE MISSING OR INOPERABLE. We are selling this truck as-is as it sits. Its a project/parts truck and so there are no guarantees or warranties on it. IT IS WHAT IT IS! IT NEEDS WORK!
