For Auction is 1987 Chevy Pick-up that is in above average shape and is a great candidate for some one to rebuild. For a project Truck on scale of 1 - 10 I would give it a 8.5. Truck was a daily driver. I have a clear Title in hand. This is not a numbers matching truck. Has 305 fuel injected with 700R4. Manual windows and door locks. Interior is bench seat and is in above average Condition. Has 4 Factory Aluminum Wheels, however the center caps are after-market. This is an A/C truck but needs a compressor. The radio area was cut, but not destroyed for a stereo. The dash can be repaired because they only bent the areas cut and can be pulled back in place and welded. I have installed a new bezel for the dash. The only rust spot I have found is on the inside driver-side rocker panel about the size of a quarter, rear bumper (which would be replaced anyway) and a little on the tail gate. Any rust area can be repaired with out having to weld in any patch panels. I removed the side molding to prevent any further rust from forming. There is very minor hail damage on hood and top. I originally purchased this truck for a donor to repair my 1990 Suburban, but the truck is to good to cut up. The Diamond Plate Tool Box goes with truck. Added Oct 14th This truck was in one family for 3 generations, Grandfather, Father, and son. I am listed as 4th owner, but I am the 1st outside the family. As I stated above the truck was a daily driver for the son until he sold it to me. The Engine is very strong and runs great. It is a TBI with the vortex heads. The engine does have oil leaks, but does not show signs of burning oil. The plugs look very good. Transmission shifts out great. This truck shows that it was very well taken care of. The only thing that was done half way was the Paint and the fact they put a new style radio in the dash. This truck was silver from factory and the radio area is repairable.
