Here we have up for auction: 1971 Crown Sovereign Hearse manufactured by Superior Coach, Lima, Ohio. This is the top of the line model for 1971, this is a hearse/ambulance combination with folding rear jump seats. This clean and orginial coach has covered only 59,900 actual miles. Some features are: 472 c.i. engine with 4 barrel carb, 400 turbo transmission All orginial interior, seats carpet, trim, etc., mint dash pad, all in great condition!---No Restoration Required!! Body is clean and soild, as is the frame/chassis Still wears its orginial Black Wrinkle Paint on rear upper roof area All glass is orginial and in excellent shape-No Cracks, or Seperations! Car was orginial from Viriginia used by the Dudley Funeral Home Worth a mention also are : Car was last state inspected in 2003--In storage ever since and used only occassionally Car runs and drives fine, but Should have some basic manitaince before any serious miles are driven New Belts and Hoses should be fitted, and Brakes should be bled as pedal seems soft, engine oil and filter and antifreeze are recently serviced!(2-new wheel cyl. kits are included with car) One area to mention is the rear bumper chrome, has a couple of small areas where the plating is lifting, and there is some tarnish Front Bumper is fine as is all other trim, with the exception of some pitting on potmetal parts Paint of roof has wrinkles, the rest of paint is good with the plently of glossly shine, some minor nicks, and or chips! Nothing major!
