For sale is a rare, 2004 Mercury Marauder, black exterior, gray/black interior with low, 57K miles. With Mercurys no longer being made after next year, there will NEVER be another car like this. I just received the certificate from Ford certifying this car to be #876 of 1237 made in black in 2004, assembled on 4/15/2004! The engine is a 4.6L V8 302 hp, 318 ft lbs of torque, same as in the Ford Mustang. 4R75W 4-speed automatic transmission. Original equipment includes leather seats with both front seats being fully powered and heated. Adjustable pedals, intermittend windshield wipers, fog lights, battery and oil gauges, 6 disc in trunk CD-changer, CD + cassette indash player with steering wheel mounted controls, cruise control, traction control with manual button deactivation. The car is in perfect mechanical shape, i've recently switched to the Synthetic oil. Car has newer BF Goodrich GForce T/A tires with approximtely 80% tread and also has a full size matching spare rim with a brand new Yokohama Avid ENVigor (W rated) tire ($150 value). I was going to get all 4 Yokohama tires for better winter performance so I started with the spare. All windows are professionally tinted and all four doors have wind/rain deflectors. I replaced all spark plugs last year to the Bosch Platinum +2. The air intake has been replaced with a JLT high performance air intake which adds up to 15 hp. I still have all of the original intake parts with a K&N air filter. Last winter Mercury replaced the air compressor for the rear suspension ($400). Summer of 2009 replaced all brake pads with Hawk Performance pads and all 4 Raybestos Rotors, calipers are painted black to match the car. The trunk has a Ford aftermarket trunk organizer with 4 dividers for better storage. Aftermarket dead pedal / foot rest for you left foot, chrome "Marauder" lettering on the rear bumper and I also have spare letters to go with it. Aftermarket 2-way Python alarm system with shock sensor and trunk release (1 - 2way remote, 1 regular remote) and also the orgininal Mercury Keyless entry remotes with 2 regular keys and 1 valet key. Also in 2009 the serpentine belt was replaced along with 2 pulleys that were sqeaking. This car has been garage kept, I only drive it to work 3 miles each way. Car has been to the local car shows. I purchased it in 2006 with 34K miles from a Ford Dealer, still have all manuals and the original window sticker. Great, Fast, Family car! This is a non-smoker vehicle. If you are looking for one of these rare vehicles, you already know why it's so unique, and this one is in great shape with low milage and has been well taken care of. Car is mostly in orignial state with a few upgrades. You will not be disappointed! These cars are selling between $14-$17K in similar condition.
