Vehicle Detail
Hello up for auction is a 1958 Buick century estate wagon 4dr htp. It has the original 364 V8 engine and 2spd automatic trans. The engine does run and it will move on it's own power however all of the frost plugs have rusted through so it does not hold coolant at all. I did buy new frost plugs for it and a new fuel pump,I will install the fuel pump so the winning bidder can hear it run. The frost plugs however would need to be installed buy the new owner. The passenger front door window is broke and has been removed but all parts are there. The only rust the vehicle has to my knowledge is in the floor boards and would not take alot to fix all floor braces seem to be very good. The vin plate was missing when I purchased the car but I do have the title and it is in my name. This is a hard to find car and wouldn't take a fortune to restore. I accept cash at pick up only! no deliveries, and U.S. bidders only! any other questions E-mail me at Nova1999@yahoo.com Thanks and happy bidding :-) On Oct-11-10 at 13:32:15 PDT, seller added the following information: With the info i've been getting from fellow ebayers I now know that this is "Special" not a "Century" wagon and the title I got with it isn't the correct one for the car I still want to sell the car as is and the winning bidder can get a title made. I had to do this for one of my other cars I have, I went through Broadway title @ www.broadwaytitle.com . The vin # is stamped on the engine block and it is the original drivetrain The vin# is (4EI047043) I hope this does'nt discourage any bidders I know this is a set back but this car is too nice to be a parts car and is worth every pennie it takes to get the correct title made. This is even more rare being a SPECIAL with a production # of 3,420 made and the century production # was 4,456 thats 1,036 less and how many are still left today? can't be very many! Please bid with confidence this car will not disapoint. Thanks and have a great day!
