At very least the carbs will need a rebuild and at most the engine will need to be rebuilt. The transmission seems to shift ok in the parking lot and the clutch works. The brakes work and the car steers. It was last on the road in 2006, I never got a clear story of why it was garaged at the time. It is however a complete project, the engine does run and it will drive, but I decided not to push the engine without having a professional look at it. California title is clear. It's a project as it sits, assume it will need everything. Please call 949 285 8 0 1 1 Exterior wise, as you can see, the body will need work to make it perfect. Currently is has an older paint job where the clear coat is coming off. Lots of small dings and chips, it looks poor. I have a decklid that comes with it, not present when I took the photos and video. As for the major stuff on the body, the hood is a bit bowed in, front left fender has a small dent in it. Doors seem to be in good shape and are without rust on bottoms. Rear quarters are both straight and right front fender is straight. Area under the windshield has some bondo cracking going on. Inside the trunk compartment looks to be fairly straight, I don't see any signs of welding or poor body work. I am not a body guy though. As far as rust, please watch the video and there I give the grand tour. The floor is pretty solid with exception of passenger side rear corner. Also where the tow hook is on the front pan there are a few small holes. You can see clearly in the photos. It will make a good project and there are much much worse out there.Interior wise, what you see is what you get, with the exception of the seats, I have a pair of period correct early 70s 911 seats that will come with the car, they will need to be recovered. Rear seat and paneling is all there, and original carpeting still is intact. The dash panel is there as well as steering wheel and gauges. Ta Targa top headiner looks good. Door panels are in good shape, passenger side door is jambed shut. Mechanically, watch the video and you can see the engine running. This car has been off the road since 2006, and I never got a clear story on what happened with it. I did drain the gas and clean the carburators out a bit and got it fired up. I didn't want to push the engine, so I didn't do the test drive. I am sure though, the engine will need serive or a rebuild. The brakes seem to work good as well as ebrake. The signals work as well as the lights. The car does parking lot steer, I don't know about the open road though. The tires are old and will need to be replaced, the wheels are original steel wheels with Porsche hub caps Please call me with questions or just press the buy it now.
