1968 CADILLAC DEVILLE CONVERTIBLE LOW MILE BEAUTY This is a beautiful 1968 Cadillac Convertible. It has been restored with some extensive work. This car is a low mileage original car that was always garaged and obtained by the original owner. The 86,000 miles is correct original and not turned over. The car has been repainted Cadillac Cashmere Ivory, which is close to yellow, a nice soft yellow. The following work has all been done to the car: Brand new Hartz material top is georgous New chrome bumpers, front & rear including ends New interior including carpet Whole new front end, including bushings, shocks, ball joints, upper & lower control arms New drive shaft New brakes, drums & cylinders, new shocks, new springs New 2 1/2 inch white wall radial tires New Battery The 472 Cadillac Engine runs amazing, with no lifter noise or tapping at all. The Transmission was rebuilt five years ago and shifts like it should with no slips or leaks. Top cylinders and motor work perfectly. Cadillac has new CD Stereo System in glove compartment but still has the originl radio in dash for a nice stock look. This car comes with 5 original hubcaps, one on the spare, original owners manual and original shop manual, which is a great thing to have. The car also has original jack. The only issue with the car is that due to lost storage rust bubbles are just starting to come through on the rear quarter panel bottoms and in the back of the front fenders. As you can see from the pictures it is not too bad and could be fixed easily. This car will drive anywhere and is in exceptional condition, over $15,000 has been invested in this car. It can be taken to shows as is. The pictures taken of the car are current. When I took pictures of the car the owner was not available, so I took a picture of the interior through the window, but the interior has been redone, looks great with no rips and dash is uncracked. This car is super straight . If you see some spots on the car and on top, its just some dirt, the paint is shiny and the car just needs to be detailed.
