Vehicle Detail
1976 Ford Bronco Metallic Green and Metallic Gray with 302 V8. This is truly one of the best broncos you could look for it is a 76 so that means it comes factory with Disk Brakes so if you every drove or owned a early bronco with drum brakes you know what I mean. Plus having disk brakes it is also has Power Brakes. It also has A/C, Power Steering, Automatic Transmission, and a Classic Warn Winch that has a 150 foot of fast spool in wire thats remote controlled from in the cab while trying to get out of that mud hole which I don't think you'll need with the factory installed locker in the 9 inch Rear End. It has Dana 44 in the front with Premium Mile Marker locking hubs. The 9 inch rear end has the Big Bearings installed on the axles instead of the smaller bearings from years earlier. This makes the Bronco better for towing and hauling more weight. Another upgrade in 76 was the Power Steering gearbox it was upgraded to turning 2.5 turns instead of 3 turns making the steering alot more tight and also can turn tighter than the jeep. I just had the 302 rebuilt about year ago. It was bored .30 over with new Kieth Black Hypo pistons, Summit RV cam, new cam bearings, new crank/piston bearings, new water pump, new high volume oil pump, new double timing chain, rebuilt/ported 90 model GT Mustang HO heads, ported stock 2 barrel intake, rebuilt stock Autolite 2 barrel carberator, and Ignitor II electronic ignition/MSD flamethower coil. I also purchased a year ago a brand new bronco spare tire cover for 31" tires. The tires are not the best of shape but are good for a few more miles. I just put a new windsheild in about 6 months ago it has a slight tint to it and I tinted the windows about a year ago. All windows are free from cracks. The weather stripping is in fair shape. I have installed tread plate or diamond plate around the bronco inside and out. I put plate on the bedcaps, tailgate top, inside door panels, kick plate, and behind seats instead of the factory plastic. I thought of the diamond plate behind seats and called and had a guy cut me some and they are better than the plastic because if you let people in the backseat area you know you have to let the seat forward and they step on the back of the seat to get in the back so the diamond plate holds up better. Also I'm 6' 1" and I fabricated 2" extension brackets for the driverseat so I more leg room I think its the best thing I've done to the bronco. Recently installed new dual exhaust sounds great. Someone before me undercoated the underside of the bronco and at first I was'nt crazy about it but after looking at other broncos I've seen in person or online I tell you its protected alot of the undercarriage because most broncos without it are rusted from the years gone by. Its real hard to find a early bronco that don't have alot of rust on it. I'll have pics were I found some surface rust on this bronco but theres nothing that totaly rusted through. The inside is spray bedlined professionally. It is color matched from the outside. the inside top is gray and the inside floors is green and there is no bad place in it such as pealing or rust coming through. I like the spray bed liner because you can just open the doors and wash it out. The seats are in fair shape. The backseat is quick removeable it has quick release pins in the floor so you can take out easliy without unbolting so you can haul stuff or as I do I load my dog and he likes to have all the space. The radio is not connected but I have the wireharness its a JVC tape player with the two control knobs. This is good to have this kind of radio I'm told because if you want you can install the factory radio in it. If I or someone would have installed a new radio that meant cutting out a rectangle hole or larger hole so if you ever wanted to install a factory radio you would have to buy a whole new front dash. I recently installed four point roll bar from wildhorse bronco parts. It has dual gas tanks. A new red top Optima battery it is one of the best batterys out there. I also installed a tool box compartment under the hood were the fresh air box used to be I took a pic of it so look at pics.
