Vehicle Detail

1942 CHEVY G-506, Stake bed. This is a true barn truck sitting on my late inlaw's estate chicken barn since 1956. It may look pretty rough, but there is no rusting, a little surface rust, but nothing down deep. Selling it for the estate. Just updated pictures. Numbers stamped on plate in cab read: 6NM21 1915. This truck was re-manufactured in 6/2/1945 by Tjp,as Bruam 7 Associates inCrowley, LA. This is a stake bed truck with the cab portion and two other stake and plank portions in great shape. No rot in wood. Some want to buy just the truck's stake bed, others don't care about the bed at all. I am will to split it up. The tires are not flat, which I think is amazing. The frame is in good shape. On Oct-08-10 at 03:34:58 PDT, seller added the following information: Military truck expert tells me from the serial number: See you found the serial number it translates to: 6 = Oakland, CA assembly plant NM is 4x4 G7100 series truck (NM also indicates the original body but don't have that list handy) built in the 21st month or September 1942. The remaining number is a sequential number starting with 1001 at each plant.
