1972 Pontiac Grand Ville 2 door hardtop; This is an incredibly well cared for one owner car still in the possession of the original owner at the time of his death last November. I am selling it for his Estate. He was a salesman and this car was driven 122,000 miles in its first three years after which it was used sparingly as a second car for a few years. It has been stored inside and rarely driven for the last 25 years. It has always been adult driven and garaged since new, also he never had any children so the back has hardly ever been used. About 50% orginal paint and completely original interior, vinyl top & drivetrain. Also included are the original window sticker, invoice, protect-o-plate, cancelled check and ORIGINAL TIRES.( It was driven about 10,000 and then the original tires were taken off and put in storage. Before it was put in long term storage the original tires were put back on) It runs and drives very well, however it is just out of long term storage so I would not want to drive it any distance because this and the 38 year old tires.There is a few issues, this is a midwestern car so there is some scaling underneath but the frame and floor pans very solid, both quarter panels have had rust repaired in front of the rear wheels many years ago and are starting to lift slightly. It has been painted below the moldings on both sides, the deck lid and taillamp panel have also been repainted and the taillight panel shows signs of being damaged & straightened but this would have been when the car was fairly new as I have known this car for all the time it has been in storage.Also the A/C compresser clutch is bad. There is a reserve, however the estate has no interest in keeping this car so bid to win but I will not end the auction early so everybody whos interested has a chance.
